Hello, how can we help you?

Our focus is in organizing authentic travel experiences for people visiting our country. We place emphasis on quality services with minimal environmental and cultural impact as a priority.
Ecoinka is a locally owned Peruvian tour operator based in Cusco, Peru. Our Operations Center is located at Camp Km 82, the base camp of the famous Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
Since 1980 we have worked operating adventure trips in the area and other parts of Perú.
Our specialty is trekking but we also provide: biking, rafting, or any other sustainable adventure you may desire in association with other operators. We operate private groups for families and friends, but also small fixed departure adventures. We can take care of every detail from your arrival to your departure in Cusco (or Lima) or you can choose to only book a trek with us if you prefer.

Our porters:
We are very proud of the group of people we have worked with for over 30 years as porters for our groups. Most of them come from the traditional village of “Patakancha” in the highlands of Ollantaytambo and others from nearby villages in the buffer zone of the Machu Picchu Park. We consider ourselves honored to be associated with this outstanding human group. Many of the porters we work with come from related family groups that give us the assurance of traveling with trustworthy companions. Some of them play native musical instruments in the evenings while on the treks. Their genuine respect for Mother Nature makes it easy to be a compatible part of the principles that rule our company.
